Systems of Logic / Logic of Systems: The Art and Mind of Agnes Denes

Agnes Denes is one of the defining figures of international contemporary art. The Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest hosts a representative exhibition of the Hungarian-born artist, who lives and works in New York. Featuring a selection of drawings, graphics, and photo documentation, the exhibition offers a comprehensive overview of the most significant groups of works and creative periods in her oeuvre. Many trends in today’s environmentally and socially conscious art would be unimaginable without her monumental land art projects. For decades, her art and ideas have provided guidance and hope to humanity grappling with ecological crises.
